Very pleased to see the players diving or grounding the ball with both hands for try’s.

Some international players should watch and learn

Some nice play there, like the fact that Umaga is a thinker with that solo from 5m out.

Sirker is fast.

Umaga looks extremely accomplished.

Some lovely looking plays there, but there's no denying Tigers had no heart for that game.

I realise its only an A game against a very inexperienced tigers squad but I do wonder why Dai hasn't made more use of Neale at 13.

He was arguably one of our standout backs earlier in the season, even though he was playing out of position, so it would be good to see what he can do in his preferred position.

He would seem to offer something that's currently missing.. running straight, or cut back lines, either carrying or acting as a dummy runner to straighten the opposition's defence.

A lot of our 1st phase attacks simply drift towards the touch which is easy to defence against

Thanks for the link Nelly. Good to finally see some footage of the players I've been reading about for months. Sirker really is rapid! Porter looked very bright.

Was good to see that one on the highlights, completely missed it whilst there as looked away as they went to kick to touch. Wonder if we will see that one in the Prem at some point.

Having watched a number of A-League games this year was good to see Sirker finally cut loose, on a few matches he has been contained and the team haven't got the ball to him so he has never really shown what he can do, we had seen it in the Prem 7's previously.

Would be nice to see him get a chance in a Prem game but guess they are all a bit critical for the rest of this year.

Thanks for the links chaps. Good to see the highlights after reading the match report a few times just out of pure excitement!

It did look like a weak leicester side but we played some nice patterns and showed the flowing rugby we produced the previous to seasons in the premiership.

Was interesting to see Matthews stood as first receiver at points and varying his passes to either cut backs or the short runner. We need to have our forwards doing more of this just to vary up the points of attack and keep oppositions guessing.

It’ll be interesting to see if some of these players who you can bet will play a fair bit of premiership cup rugby at the start of next season could stake a claim for a premiership place in the 23 when it finally gets going around October. Could be a very exciting preseason this year

Was also interesting to note that the only handbags in the whole match was Mathews seeming to take on the whole Tigers team.  :)
