Signed a new 3 year Gloucester contract.

I wasn't expecting that

Pleased that we will still see his special talent in the Premiership, apart from twice a season.

Me too - I've enjoyed watching 12T bloom too.

Glos are my second team so I'm chuffed for them. I am glad Danny will be playing in the Prem for another 3 years. I wonder if he will get back into the England setup after Jones buggers off after failing in the WC?

He's happy at Glaws, so why would he not sign a new contract?

In a word - money. He's not got too many years left at the top and be able to command a top dollar salary. Also dependent on any future he might have with the England setup.

No doubt he is enjoying his time there but I do wonder what keeps him in the GP seeing as he has continually been overlooked for England selection. Perhaps there are some behind-closed-doors conversations being had?

Extract from an interview on PlanetRugby

"“I’m very pleased. Last year, I waited until the end of May until I signed a contract with anybody, and it’s just nice to know that I can settle down for the next three years of my career and life, and get the best out of myself at Gloucester Rugby,” he revealed."

This is proof that Dai had no choice but to sign another 10..
