CHANGE IN NUMBER OF TRIES COMPARED TO LAST SEASON FROM RIL.

You can clearly see the impact Christian leaving for NFL had on our scoring. I won't mention our former number 10 but I suspect that and Jimmy being out removed some of our creativity and also impacted us.

Exeter: +10
Saracens: -12
Gloucester: +10
Northampton: +9
Harlequins: +5
Bath: -11
Sale: -11
Wasps: -20
Bristol: +13 (2016/17)
Worcester: +2
Leicester: -14
Newcastle: -12
It was fine when I left it.....

-10 from Cipriani leaving and -5 each for Daly and WLR being crap all year.

Seems we didn't miss Wade according to my in depth analysis! :o

Due to the other three factors he wouldn’t have received the ball.

You should get a job at the club!!

Wow. The biggest drop off by a team, by some margin. On a positive note, we should be able to improve next seasons result from where we are now  😳

Telling stat. If we had replicated those numbers this season, we would have easily made the play offs. Onwards and upwards next season.

I think that has been the most obvious difference in performances this year.  We've had lots more possession but unfortunately remained fairly static in terms of field position.  The last few minutes verses sale where we couldn't quite grab the win was an example of this.

Did we concede fewer tries? If so I guess probably not 20 fewer.

Conceded 5 more I think.
Conceded on more try than in the year we finished top but scored 33 fewer.
Clearly Costello is to blame...

No need to actually replicate the numbers, just have a few tries allowed which were refused by contentious decisions.

This totally. You would hope all the officials come back after a rest and take a kinder view of Wasps after the number of f¥&# ups they collectively made.

Did we have more tries disallowed this year? Or is it that our attack was less effective so that the ones that were chalked off were of greater significance?
