Wasps apparently are adding Martin Gleeson from Salford City Reds as a coach. 39 years old 26 caps with GB/England.
No I don't know either.

I often forget that we already have a coach with League experience in Dai. Salford was the team that’s Dai played most of his league for so I hope if this does happen it is because of some insider knowledge of Gleeson.

In other news saw that Umaga is on his way back from NZ. Was a caption also on his Instagram saying see you again in 5 months.
Perhaps a championship club until the start of the S15 preseason next year

Strange as he is listed with a photo as a part of the Mitre Cup Aukland team. Unless the web page is last years but the season is about to start.

Meh. They linked us and glaws with long, yet Quins actually got the signature.

I suspect any and every coach on the mover potentially is linked to wasps as a guess since its well publicised by dai that we're looking.

Not going to believe any coach rumours now.

Dai's mantra has been that he'll only sign the right person for the position that he thinks needs filling.. not someone that is looking for a job next season (is Gleeson looking for a job and RP know Wasps are looking for a coach and put 2 and 2 together).

I'm guessing it depends on what role would be filled.. it certainly won't be lineout, scrums, rucks etc.. but those 3 elements all link with attack and defense so any incoming RL  coach is on a steep learning curve to get their tactical head around the core difference, which is competition for the ball at the tackle/ruck area.
