The sound of referees all over the country shouting 'Balls Out', headlines beckon ;-)
It was fine when I left it.....

Te'o rumoured to be off to Queensland Reds, what would that mean in terms of his eligibility to play for England, as he has already left Worcester, is an unattached player still available for selection?

Do you mean for the WC or for after the WC.

He'll be OK for WC but not after that if he doesn't come back to England.. which seems very unlikely.

BTW.. how did he qualify as EQP in the first place... was it residency rules before they lengthened the qualification period

RWC eligible, so I assume unattached and EQP is okay. I believe he has qualified as an EQP via residency. I know a fair few Warriors supporters and they think he is shocking value for money.

I've just checked his bio and according to that he joined Wuss in Dec 2015 from Leinster before being picked for Eng the following summer, so it can't be residency rules that he qualified through?

edit..

Ah.. English mum, Samoan dad, looks like he grew up in NZ.

On a seperate point, & not wishing to start a slagging off of Eddie Jones, but what are the aims of these training camps? Given the number of critical players, that are still not there (all the Sarries & Execter players for example) what's really the point? Isn't this just a few first teamers training with the 2nd & 3rd teams?

To work on the fundamentals. That’s what he said. Running passing and catching?

I was hoping that a pro rugby player called up for England should have the fundamentals pretty match nailed on and we can progress to something aspirational...

Which makes it even more ironic, as he has just called our former number 10 into the fold, who as I recall wasn't too shabby at passing, catching and running.

And Heinz who I used to playing with Cipriani. Is Heinz recently qualified for England?

I really wish World Rugby would close this qualification rule. Being able to rely on grandparents lineage is going too far back.

How do rugby authorities also check this? Taking someone's word for it?

I believe Wales  fell foul of this once with  a NZ player who said he had Welsh grandparents.
