Excellent news, Umaga now a first team player, and another promising SH, that takes us to 4 - Dobbie, Vellacott, Porter and Wolstenholme.
It was fine when I left it.....

Some Wolstenholme footage here he doesn't seem to dither too much but the Championship is a bit frenetic compared to the GP, try at about 2:53 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4O_6O2cr-U, shirt number 21.
It was fine when I left it.....

GREAT NEWS!!!

Really pleased to read the announcement and made all the better with a 4th SH joining.

This will no doubt calm everyone's fears.

Great news on Umaga and also the SH signing is sensible as someone to compete with Porter rather than to block his path.

At least with Daniels we already had five THs so going back to four and we should still be ok. Langley isn’t too far away at Cov if required and Alex Hunt in the wider academy has already played for the first team in the cup so should be ok for A League TH options

Umaga did say online that he’d be back in NZ in five months so wonder if that’s just during a break or whether he has the option to gain super rugby experience (can’t really see us letting him do this if we see him as potential first choice FH during the cups.

Wonder what was happening behind the scenes as to why he wasn’t promoted at the same time as the others? Contract negotiations, mitre 10 options possibly

Great and long awaited news re Umaga. I think he'll get some game time too. Squad is looking really well rounded to me now with the caveat that we really need some luck with injuries in the centres.
