Slightly OT - League Player Slaps Dislocated Knee Back In

Has to be seen to be believed, https://www.givemesport.com/1486180-rugby-league-player-joe-westerman-slapped-his-dislocated-knee-into-place-and-continued-playing, he carried on playing. Then my mind immediately flips to Wendyballer Neymar and sees a polar view.
It was fine when I left it.....

Without wishing to detract in any way, if you have a 'trick knee' which is prone to pop out, it can also be popped back in again, though there may be associated damage to the ACL.

Fair enough, but I am not sure I would be so bold!

I seem to remember something similar happening to Tony Finau the golfer when he dislocated his ankle and just shoved it back in place and played on.

You’re right Shugs. He was running down a rather rough area after having a hole in one at the Masters’ pre-competition. Reached down and put his ankle back in place and then played four rounds of golf.

I used to play rugby with a prop who would regularly have to knock his dislocated shoulder back in mid game!

Now that you come to mention it, BP. I also had a prop (I was hooker) who had a similar problem.
