Jeff is in the UK
« on: July 31, 2019, 08:37:40 AM »
The tall guy has landed (photo on his Instagram story) this morning, after a 32 hour flight, and they lost four out of five bags.

Welcome to Wasps and Leamington.

Welcome indeed - he is huge isn't he! We're going to have some power next season

Hope he likes Leamington and welcome to a now rather decent front row team!

Front row is looking very decent this year. I expect Zhvania to have a big year and I've seen JTA a good few times and like the look of him. Hoping McIntyre and Taylor can stay fit and I think Owlett might be something of a surprise package.

Owlet is huge - you sure wouldn't want to bump into him accidentally!

What with the others including Brookes and Taylor etc, and the large number of potentially superfast wing options - perhaps we just need to get a nudge on and spin it wide!

For that we'd also need to create space, something we didn't do all last season due to such a deep structure (although Exeter handle that ok) and players eating up outside room.

Speed and a dink through is a match for anyone, would love to see some creativity and less huff n puff next season, we were pretty one dimensional last year and a poor dimension at that.

Next season looks tougher than the one just gone with Sale, Quins and Glaws making some good signings, so we'll have to gel pretty quickly

I agree with what you are saying - my posting was rather tongue in cheek!

Fekitoa is also here, was with Lima at his home, according to Lima’s Instagram. According to the tags JTA also there.

I do agree 10 is an uncertainty...

We need to use Sopoaga differently to Cipriani and more like we used our fly halves in 2015/16.

I also hope Gleeson adds ideas as to how to utilize Sopoaga effectively.

There's so many ifs and buts regarding Sopoaga.... Hence I agree it's a concern.

JTA is certainly a big lad. I wonder how his fitness stacks up against EPL/Wasps props.

I think Brookes lost a load of weight after joining us.

Yes he did - partly I believe due to getting back into training properly and with motivation and partly the requirement of playing like a Wasp ?

I think he had been slightly "casual" about training for a period!

Saints wanted him heavier. Did he put on weight whilst there.
