I, for one, think Matteo will be our most exciting signing for 2019/20 season and can't wait to see him in the black and gold. I remember seeing him playing for the Azzuri and thought he was absolutely phenomenonal. With him at 15 (sorry Rob) and our speedy wingers, our back 3 could set the Prem alight again.

His signing was a little bit out of the blue (see what I did there). I recall seeing him play for Italy a couple of seasons ago and he stood out like a shining star in an average Italian backline.

Its interesting that he chose an English club to sign for and not a French club.

A really exciting signing for us. Most will be anxious around his continued fitness initially but if he gets a run and settles his style of play could make him not only a very useful addition but something of a cult hero.
