The league season is about to start and still no news?

Does anyone know if there's a confirmed time-scale for the enquiry?

Looks like clubs and fans hoping to kick off on something approaching a level playing field are going to be left disappointed again, allegedly.

I was thinking the very same thing yesterday and I'm resigned to the possibility that nothing will be announced for months (didn't PRL push the responsibilty onto an (allegedly) independent panel?) and most likely nothing will happen  :-\

I expect that a combination of threats of litigation along with the fear of tarnishing the league reputation by admitting that the champions are serial cheats will mean this all gets swept under the carpet like last time.
My prediction is that (like last time) the rules will be changed in a tacit admission of how the current rules have been bypassed and the cap raised to allow expensive players to be retained. This will also allowi Saracens to claim innocence and create an even wider gap between rich and poor clubs in direct contravention if two of the key principles of the cap - to create a roughly level playing field and to ensure clubs can cover their costs.

There was an extra imperative about the Champions Cup last season for Sarries - winning it gives them a buffer against these accusations.
