Based on Saturday's performance, we still need some decent coaches, or at least a plan /style that will work, as clearly whatever plan the players were told to use and stick to was never going to work. Getting better, but a long way from being viable.
Does supporting a player at the breakdown constitute defence or attack? Does telling the ball carrier not to go into contact without support constitute attack or defence? Attack I think. Not having a coherent kick and chase plan for when we face a fast line speed defence? Attack again.
Attack coaching is where we need help, for both pack and backs. Is Jimmy going to actually play a game this year? Could he coach an attack style that doesn't cough the ball up every few minutes?
