When Farrell got pushed in the face and fell to the floor, did anyone else think that he got a bit dramatic by covering his eyes and (what looked like) crying in pain? It's just that the second the whistle was blown to look at what happened, he got up and walked off like nothing happened. Really hope rugby doesn't start going the way of football with players diving to drawn the penalty

Looked like an Oscar winning performance to me! The clatter he took to his leg/knee did sting him but the push was overblown none sense. IMHO.

For now, I'm going to hope that it was shock that made him think it hurt so much

I can see what you're saying but to be fair to him he takes quite a lot of hits without any histrionics. On the wider point of rugby drifting towards football type reactions to contact etc I wouldn't worry, it's still a million miles away.

I must admit to being surprised to actually see what had happened.  From Farrells' reaction I was expecting a lot more than just a shove from Whitelock!

He did pass on kicking duties to Ford after that collision.

He did pass on kicking duties to Ford after that collision.

Kicking duties had moved to ford long before that.
At the end of the first half, Farrell was hobbling and didn't take any kicks after that
