I have no objections to new refs, after all they all start somewhere.

Doyle on the other hand can f*** *ff

Why the hell have they foisted him on us again so early. The refs committee must get feedback. Wonder how many interjections we will hear on ref-link. Lost my voice last time screaming at him so must take some lozenges this time.

We'd get more sense from Mrs. Doyle

Me too. Sore throat until Wednesday!
Wil try to be more philosophical on Saturday and let the refereeing go over my head. Just hope we play well enough to take the ref out of the picture, and Doyle's interference or non interference does not cost us another game, after Tigers last season and not nots this. However, don't think I'll be successful.
Probably just perception, but we do seem to get more than our fair share of novices and or poor refs, Ding dong Doyle included.

I don't generally like criticising referees, but I make an exception for JP Doyle.

He is without doubt the worst ref currently in the Prem. He is utterly terrible. He needs to be retired asap.

I don't think he's biased against wasps I just think he's cr@p.

On the positive side, some of the new refs coming through seem pretty decent so hopefully this will be OK.

But JP used to be good. It used to be you wanted him over the Greg Garners if this world.
It is odd how refs change. Or is it just the perception of them? Or do teams work them out which exposes them?

Time for the chant from Loftue Road “We want Steve Lander.”  Maybe he wasn’t that bad compared to JPD.

Quite glad we have a newer ref, Ridley came in a year or 2 ago during 6N and was very good, and has kept that level up (although I wouldn’t want him to count to 5 after his little mishap at rugby x ) definitely one of the best refs in the prem at the moment.

Hopefully this ref can follow in his footsteps

I see that JPD is supposed to be tonights Northampton match  ref.

He'll be absolutely worn out by 3:15 tomorrow.

Just wondering why we haven't seen Sarah Cox again - she was excellent when she reffed us against Saints, and is on the Elite ref list.

Listening to ref mic thought he was pretty decent today for a newbie, backed his own decisions, very little input from ARs apart from what you would expect and refereed the game in front of him rather than reputations or with excessive familiarity.
