We were briefly, the EAs have appealed so the points deduction and fine are suspended until that outcome is reached. Back to 7th!
It was fine when I left it.....

I shall call them the Sorries from now on.  Perhaps they will re-establish themselves as a French club.  Do we think there might be more to come?.  Were they the only club being investigated?  going to be difficult to motivate the squad now.  There will be recriminatiions from the players I bet.  It is their livelihood that Sorries have been playing around with.  Maybe some will not wish to be associated with them now but it would all take a bit of unravelling.  What a mess.

I chuckled when they focused on the remark to the effect that the inquiry had commented that they had acted in innocence.  Reminds me of the BHS saga.

A big point for me is that it has brought the game into disrepute, just like Bloodgate did.  Questions over wray as a fit and proper person and where does this leave McCall?

The statement says  "we are pleased that this process has reached a conclusion " so presumably no other club being investigated unless it is just referring to Sorries.  Yes, I feel for the fans too.

Back to 7th. Appeal lodged so back to where we were.

Can we expect the appeal to go flying in to the long grass? I wonder on what grounds they will appeal? Maybe they can delay it long enough that they do irreparable damage to this season for all other teams, to the players, and to English rugby? Is there a 'fit and proper' test for Prem club owners? Will their sponsors pull out? I cannot think Allianz would want to associate themselves with this mess, but they also sponsor the ground? I remember how fast the sponsors pulled the plug on Lance Armstrong?

Who else sponsors them? Stowford Press ...

It also says they invested their own capital...so that would be where their £10 went!

Wonder where the funding came from?

Rhetorical question...
