Does anybody really want to return to our Sudbury base. Standing around the pitch or sitting in the temporary stand?! Aren’t there houses there now!!
I think we misread or don’t understand the complexity of current financial arrangements. We have:
- The ground, currently just for rugby but with the potential return of Coventry City. That was the reason a long time ago for merging with QPR at Loftus Road to maximise use of the playing area.
- A stadium that can be used for other events like pop concerts
- Exhibition/conference spaces which seem well-used.
- The hotel
- The casino.
They all give us a range of money-making activities with plenty of parking & the station.
I don’t think any other Premiership club has that range of commercial activities.
I assume that leads to a complex mix of businesses and financial arrangements.
Do any of have the analytical & financial skills to understand them? Seems to provide a much more secure arrangement than anything we had at Sudbury, Loftus Road & Adams Park.

That would be a big boost. Last year Nick Eastwood said that there a number of blue chip co's that they were talking to.

My guess would be it's the rugby part that's draining funds. Removing the bits that might be making cash and going back to basics seems daft to me.

It'll be interesting to see where we go. I'm not too worried to be honest. I'd love to see us break even etc but i feel we're in a position where if we were put on the market, we'd attract more rich people happy to invest in a play thing.
