Morning Neils. Still dozy after getting up an hour ago!

Fortress Ding Dong Bell is a hard place to visit. Wishing the lads do well.

Morning all. Not an easy place to go but I'm getting a sneaking feeling we'll get the win. Happy to play them when they are minus Faf.

Bonjour a tous.

Will be watching on BT from across the Channel. Fingers crossed on this one. If we can cut out the errors from last week, I fancy us toninght.

Safe travels to all going. Just watched the BBC news - horrendous scenes in some areas.

Morning Neils, morning all

Blue sky in Dublin this morning. A nice contrast to the dreadful rain and wind earlier in the week.  I’ll be landing back in London an hour before kick-off, and hope to be home to catch the second half.

Expecting a solid performance, and the result we deserve. Good to see Big Mac back, and hoping his concussion issues are behind him.

Safe travels and enjoy the match wherever you’re tuning in.

Morning all, odd being on Friday, but looking forward to watching the game on tv after work.

Big Wasps team sent to a tough place, here's hoping they can get the win. If they do then my Monday listen to the Egg Chasers pod will be extra sweet! I suspect the odds are in JB's favour though.

Here's to a great game, it would be great to see another step forward in performance, whatever the result. Come on You Wasps.

Safe travels

Morning all. The sun shines in Hastings! We never seem to do very well v Sale up North on a Friday night. But I'm still looking forward to this one. Glad that Faf is still celebrating. Good luck Wasps and their followers on the journey to the AJ Bell.

Morning all (seems weird saying that on a Friday).

Blue skies here in Warwickshire, apparently the weather hasn't been so kind to the north of England recently though.

Do Sale have a hybrid or grass pitch?

Morning all. Stuck in Athens working, should have been back this afternoon but not now until tomorrow, so missing the match, nothing but the hope of a twitter feed and won't even be back in time to hear the crowd reactions at the Gloucester match. A win will make it all right though.

Think it's grass.  But an upgrade on Edgely Park!  Otherwise better get the pizza order in now! (Not Domino's though, doesn't Nigel Wray have a stake?)

The Sharks web site says:

A 122 x 86 metre fibre based grass pitch

That sounds like 4G to me.

A fibre based pitch sounds like a hybrid to me. They have done wonders for the league, especially during winter.

I'm not a fan of the full on plastic pitches though.. not that I have ever played on one ..

Their pitch is similsr to the Ricoh, but is Fibreturf, A load more sand than usual has been added, so is basically now Fibresand.

Surprisingly  the suppliers of thiese are more used to supplying those products for equestrian purposes, but it looks like the pitch has held up well to being used by both the Union and League teams throughout the year.

(I have been down talking to a local groundworks company, who specialise in preparing sports surfaces this morning, and they supplied the above information!)

Looking forwards to watching this one  - be on tv, me on sofa full of drugs post hip replacement which mean I already feel like I've been tacked by Jack Willis, whilst unaware!

Gut feeling is if...if, we are going to demonstrate that the early season form was "just one of those things" and the last Ricoh performance is where we really "are at", then this the sort of fixture we need to win and preferably with a little style - though i would settle, happily, for a coherent performance. (and win)

My glass half full/empty equation will be swung by this one!
