I think as much as we hate to admit it, i'm not sure Alex has much of a rugby future ahead of him, certainly not at Wasps.
I doubt he can be the player he once was and given our current offerings I can't see him making a 23 either. Horrible thought but a sad reality.

Sad, but true.

FWIW I have never seen an athlete recover from his injury.

Feel gutted for him. He was such a dynamic #8 before the injury curse hit him.

Sounds like bad news. Its terrible when injury has such an effect on promising careers such as this and the Sam Jones scenario. There's still hope for Reider but you have to suspect the comments prior to this in the thread will probably turn out to be accurate.

Really hope you are all wrong, but it really doesn't sound good. He has always been a handful for opponents and always goes forward with his hard, wriggling, twisting carries. Really want to see him back.

I'd love to be wrong but if I take my glasses off, who does he start in front of in the back row these days? I wish it was different and maybe he gets a new future contract elsewhere and opportunities but I suspect this would be his final contract if I was a betting man.

Yes, I recall seeing him in at least one game. vs Tigers I think, at Broadstreet.

Yes he was at that game, was good to see him playing, current news seems less good.
