CVC taken share of Pro 14

Article on the Beeb. 27% share to hand over commercials and tv etc. Interesting they now have us, Celtic+ and 6N. Wrapping up NH rugby only Top 14 to go.

I thought the Celtic+ was a done deal months and months ago.

CVC do seem to be positioning themselves to have my fingers in many 6N pies.

Isn't the PRO 14 run by the French rugby federation though. That might be trickier to buy into as most of the clubs have welthy owners so won't be as easily won over by $ signs.

Would CVC need to also buy a share in the european Champions/Challenge Cup?

No Pro 14 is the Celtic nations plus italy and two Saffer clubs. Top 14 is French.

Oops .. I got my 14's mixed up... but CVC don't have a foothold in the Top 14... yet? Which must be their plan or are they targetting a British Isles league 1 and 2 only?
