according to the BT team Ulster were so superior, so  this absolute superiority equated to 5 points. not much good being superior if you cant score points.

JP O' Doyle - he must have something against the French. Does he know what yellow cards are used for? Multiple penalty offences by his countrymen and not once did he go for a card.

Hang on, he was not reffing a Wasps game, was he!!!!!

although he did give the french a penalty try for scrum infringements on the 5 metre line, don't think he had much choice, the french were readying the guillotine in the tunnel, he must have spotted it but on yellow card,
Penalty try normally = yellow card.

I just realised Marty Moore was playing so maybe JP was a little confused and thought he was reffing Wasps

The serious answer must be that he is a Premiership referee. Is he Irish in any way?
Ulster won because Clermont were not very good. As the BT team pointed out, both sides were guilty of ignored offsides on a number of occasions. Don’t the assistants offer help to the referee?
Marty Moore had a good game. He seemed much bigger than I remember.

of course he's Irish he's father Teds housekeepers love child, have you not heard him on fef-link. and you are right the french were awful, the result had nothing to do with JP. Marty Moore did play well, I allways thought he was good for use but I seem to remember he was injured a lot of the time

JP Spoil shows his anti wasps bias.
Gives a try, stating he cant see the ball but assuming player grounded it, camera has no views.
Identical situation for Ayo last season, yet states he cant award it as he can't see grounding.
Knob.

Yes, I saw that...outrageous!
He is indeed, as you quite rightly point out, a knob 😁

For me, he has always been a referee who makes it up as he goes along, this just goes to show how woeful he really is, as when dealing with the same scenario, he is inconsistent in terms of decision making. I hope never to see him referee a Wasps game again.
It was fine when I left it.....

He's getting to be as bad as Greg Garner who, I see, has been booted upstairs.
