Second Row Issues

Brad looking doubtful and Tibo still undergoing the necessary HIA protocols. We are in serious trouble with the second row as we head towards the Edinburgh fixture. Am I missing something or do we only have Tim Cardall and Theo available?
It was fine when I left it.....

I think there are two issues. 1) Who is available and 2) Who would we risk. As it happens I think we do only have Cardall and Vukasinovic available. They probably have to play. If JL, WR or TF are close I wouldn't play them anyway. If we go in with a weakened second row I'd also rest Brookes and go with Owlett or JTA as scrummaging with TV and TC behind will be nigh on impossible but the other two give us more in the loose.

Last men standing, not sure what other options we have but to field them, accept the result and pray they don't get injured...whilst praying others regain fitness for the prem. Do we have any academy bodies?

Ben Morris was mentioned by Dai last week as having played second row before and being an option.

Whilst shorter, he's a strong looking lad, might do better than Theo.

Josh Fenner in the academy.  Can't imagine he's registered for Europe, but I think limited squad changes can be made where injury necessitates it.  A better option than risking any of the more senior locks that might be close to recovery.

Not being entirely serious, but a second row of Vailanu & Ashley would have some serious grunt !
Line outs might be a bit of a drama mind you....

I've not seen it recently but 4 man lineouts are always worth a shout if a team is suffering..

You'd have to play 8 props to cover the lifting at the line out.

That, I am not sure why, reminded me of wallace and grommet and the sheep on the motorcycle, but beefy props instead.

Ha! We appear to have moved seamlessly from a second row crisis to 8 props on a motorcycle with a fictional sheep.

They wouldn't do much worse than we have been so far this season.

5 games in and we don’t have any second rows left. That sounds quite bad. Statistically are we just more unlucky with injuries, I googled player injury time lost per position for prem teams, not sure if it’s even a thing that’s tracked. Probably a bit Moneyball.
