For me, I think we’ve just lost our identity - It’s not clear how we’re trying to play. We seem to flip-flop from trying to play territory and one-out rugby but without enough physicality to dominate and control in those scenarios, or accuracy in the kicking to trying to play fast and loose.
Historically, we’ve had just enough physicality to live with most teams and thrived off of potent attacking moves and counter attacks from turnovers. Our kicking game has tended to be varied and intelligent, trying to turn other teams or to try and effect the organisation of the oppositions defence rather than neccessarily playing territory as such.
