5 games in and we don’t have any second rows left. That sounds quite bad. Statistically are we just more unlucky with injuries, I googled player injury time lost per position for prem teams, not sure if it’s even a thing that’s tracked. Probably a bit Moneyball.

Surely if we’re ‘statistically unlucky’ as you suggest, then there’s actually a fundamental flaw in our training operations? I’m not a professional physio but you can’t ignore such a severe trend imo.

If I were part of the medical team, I would look at the stats for injuries and possession throughout the premiership.

The tackler gets injured more than the tackled.
