Morning all. Hope the weather in Coventry is somewhat better than here - tis biblical rain at the mo. About to walk the dog - I may get back! Journey time yesterday with the weather and the rush was between 3 and 4 hours according to Google so will set off early - giving ourselves 4 - 5 hours one way. Boy do I deserve a win (3-0 will do).

Finally the kids weekend activities have all stopped, and so I stand a chance of being able to watch this match.  That being said I'm not sure if my heart is up to it.  It feels like an absolute must win, season defining game to me, and I have no confidence that we can win it based on previous form.  However with Big Joe back we can expect a bit of a lift, and with Jacob in the chair we have some creativity.

If ever there was a time to up your game boys this is it .

Morning all. Rain has stopped in Halesowen, big shop for Christmas done early. Relaxing morning before heading over. Need to pick up a new hoodie for the boy at the club shop so going slightly earlier.

Huge, huge game today. I'd go so far as to say the biggest since the Prem Final v Exeter. It feels pivotal to everything moving forward on the 5th anniversary of the first game at the Ricoh. Win today and we can start to build a bit of momentum, we need to be solid all over the pitch and clinical when chances arise. Every single player, coach and even us supporters have to step up and play their part today. The extra spice being that it's the proper derby too.

I don't want to contemplate losing...

Train to the Arena is cancelled. Shuttle buses. Decided to just get a taxi from covto the hotel rather than to the Ricoh and them walk to hotel.

Anyone know when the fan zone closes?
