The best news of all - Chesty has overcome his head injury and has returned to training.

Love that guy, can't wait to see him back on the pitch

Great news for McIntyre but when he does come back I'll be wincing every time he goes into contact. Fingers crossed Umaga's hia's are clear. I wouldn't be risking anyone vs Agen.

I assume Simon, Dai & Wasps’ medics are well aware of how careful they must be with cases of concussion. If he’s back in training, they must consider its safe for him to do so.

I really hope he's ok now.  I know he's really suffered with concussion, but he's not the only one to take a long time out and come back firing on all cylinders.  George North did, Halfpenny did, if we get the old Chesty back that's gonna have a massive impact on our squad. He was always our best scrummaging LH and was getting better and better in the loose.

Just messing
I too am very worried about him

However, as VV has said, there's plenty of rugby players who have made full recoveries from repeated concussions.

Our team will definitely be stronger with Chesty than without

Great news, with everyone fit we have hell of a pack. Now the back line are starting to click I really am starting to feel good about this young squad, which must be one of the larger squads in the premiership.

I was just about to cite George North as an example too. He appeared to be made of glass for a couple of years, but has seemed fine of late.

I reckon we still won't see him until February. A few weeks in training to be doubly sure he is fit for game time in my opinion is best for player welfare. Thrilled he is back though, was getting very nervous that a different kind of announcement was coming.

On another note having this period out for him may have also allowed any other niggles he has to calm down. Could prolong his career for a bit longer hopefully.
