Does anyone know the nature of Shields foot injury. To not be back in training after this period of time seems a bit worrying.

Does anyone know the nature of Shields foot injury. To not be back in training after this period of time seems a bit worrying.

Hasn't this been a niggling issue for a while, maybe as far back as when he joined us?

I read that it was the inside of the foot [plantar fascias] and the previous problem was the outside. Probably needs some orthotics.

I think he picked up the injury during the England WC summer camp.
