IF ...

we get a TBP away at irish

AND IF ...

Agreed. The actual points difference has never been that great but when we were playing badly it looked insurmountable. Now we're playing well (and that brings in the Bristol, Wuss and Sarries games) it looks do-able. Exeter will finish top but from there on down it's anybody's. I think we could do top 4.

Shugs,

Agreed, if and only if we can play that well again and consistently

If we play like that consistently then there is no doubt.

Winning is always preferred, but it's all so close at the moment that if we just keep chugging along with solid wins and BP losses here and there, I think we'll do ok.

Had the tickets for the final for ages, get them each year in hope and end up watching Sarries, now (on the massively statistically representative 1 match) it will clearly be worth it.

The home games we let slip against Irish, Quins and Saints are now all the more frustrating.  If only...

Frustrating indeed - another 9 points would have been very handy!

As frustrating as it’s been, were slap bang in the middle of the season. 11 played, 11 to go. Season is far from over and looking at the table, we could get top 4 if we play like we did on Friday for the rest of the season.

Wasps of old would go storming up the table post Christmas. I think the last time we won the prem we went from 11th just after new year before finishing second in the table.

Irish may well be the dark horse in this race. We're far from the only big name they're gonna turn over this season.

Yes.

We've had a poor season and a half, but yes we're a big name. Why would you doubt it?
