Bath have been busy

Some astute signings from Bath IMO, Cameron Redpath released early from Sale, and Rhys Webb after his release from Toulon.

Who knows, but clearly they can as I don't think any club will be in the margins based on the EA scandal. Rhys Webb is until the end of the season, so I expect it is a short-term commitment before he joins a Welsh Pro14 club.

Webb is being paid by Toulon still so prob an arrangement with bath in terms of wages. Redpath is a strange one, have a transfer fee and as they have courted him, expect he's on a tidy sum. I have no doubt about caps, so an interesting choice as he's looked OK at best for Sale.

Was reading the Bath Board yesterday as a matter of fact. It appears they want to strengthen their 9 options and Webb has been linked for some time, when the Toulon fallout happened. Think he’s just a stop gap until the end of the season.

The Redpath one is a funny one. It’s not often you see transfer fees exchanged to buy players out of contracts, especially for players that haven’t exactly set the world alight. Granted he maybe a bright prospect but Sale fans don’t seem too bothered at losing him.

Sounds like Bath aren’t done yet either. Their fans are having the same debate over Loz as we have... do you sign him as a covering 10 or as an out and out centre and look for another back-up 10.

Rugbypass has Exeter as premiership winners at a canter.

I suspect they will be wrong, as usual.

I fully expect Exeter to finish top of the table come season end but anything can happen in one off games.

Just ask Saracens  ;D

Webb has signed for Ospreys.
