The way the first LI try was something I am surprised not to see used more often.
Back in 1965, whilst at school it was something we did, quite successfully, a lot, as our then rugby master, John Dawes, identified that within a few yards of the line a team will defend pick and goes by spreading along the offside line, leaving the space behind undefended. So kicking from close to the ruck means you cannot be legally tackled, and the SH has the advantage of defenders having to turn before getting up to speed.
Although Watson's try was a thing of beauty, I did like the LI third try. The awareness of the prop to get the ball back as he was being driven out, and the awareness of Rogerson to pick up and go over was excellent.
