At long last. Interesting that they think they might start late summer. Car Park C is to be replaced over the railway which requires a bridge. A bridge over an existing rail line is not an easy or quick thing to arrange.

Great news.

Another example of Wasps working in partnership with Coventry City Council.

It can only increase the value of the business.

And not cheap either! It will be interesting to see who will be footing the construction bills for the hotel etc. Hampton may well be, in which case, it's a win/win for Wasps.

Bloody London Wasps, coming up here boosting our local economy and creating jobs and career opportunities for locals. The sooner they p**s off back to London the better for all concerned.

And they're only able to build a hotel because they're broke and Derek Richardson is about to pull out.

Why would the car park need a bridge? Access for cars from Tesco entrance and foot bridge to north already and underpass to south.

I think that for bigger matches the traffic lights will be chaotic, what with those cars that normally turn left now having to queue with those that want to turn right.

Tesco own that car park and refused permission to use their land.

Tesco own the car park not the access road that’s highways. (See council report) there is no bridge planned or needed.

May not but it was in details originally sent as info to STHs a couple of years ago as an answer to what will happen to Car Park C ticket holders.
