There's always a lot spoken about the likes of Rob Baxter (and perhaps until this season Mark McCall) about what gentlemen they are when it comes to interviews regardless of how well, or badly things have gone for them.

I think it's fair to say that Dai is up there with the best of them in that regard.  Summed up by him talking about his next move not needing to be a leadership one necessarily.

Good for him to be having a bit of 'Dai' time in getting to see his other boys play, spend some time with the Family and looking after himself.  Although purportedly very well paid, the DoR job must be brutal in terms of stress on both body and mind.

Interesting to see him talk about he feels his strength is in the coaching and wants to be in and amongst it rather than sitting back directing things.

A real hero IMO.

Not a 'win at all costs' merchant.

Good interview to see Dai is ok. I am no closer, personally, to understanding what's happened and why, but I think sometimes, as happened to other great coaches/leaders in sport and indeed at Wasps, you just get to a point when its time to go. It would be perhaps useful if Bobby B or someone perhaps set things out for supporters?

(If I've missed it/something similar - apols)

I do think "once a Wasp" is something that pretty much all our ex coaches/DoR would believe, from Gats and Geech and Shaun, all of whom would be welcome anytime as will Dai.

Dai Young is a class act.

I giggled at the image of him getting down the gym and shifting a few pounds.

A class act and it should be remembered that he assembled the squad that is really now taking off (or was).

A really uplifting article. After all that Dai has been through with Wasps, it would have been very sad if the parting had not been amicable. He will always be welcome at the Ricoh in my book.
