On Facebook it says the video will be posted on Friday (today), so it's not a live feed, just a pre-recorded video.

The post I saw was dated 1 April though. Just wondering because there has been no further advert.

Other than cable - which regularly delivers in excess of 100MB, I reckon that my fibre to the box, then 400 yds of copper, is pretty good at 66MB. On copper alone, I was lucky to get 4MB.

We switched from Sky, where the best speed we could ever get was 2mbps and most Friday evenings I'd use my phone as a hotspot for my tablet so I could watch Rugby on BT Sport, to Virgin last week. I tested the speed after the technician installed the router and got 116mbps. The technician apologised and said that the two TiVo boxes he was about to install are updating and slowing the speed down. Package costs us less with BT Sport than Sky could offer without.

I approached Virgin about a connection and was told my culdesac wasn't served because we were not the demographic they initially wanted. They took it into council estates not far away. I was asked for an installation fee of £10k but could split that between neighbours if I wanted. So no Virgin for us.

Where we live, in the sticks between Prestwood and Hughenden, not too far from High Wycombe, there is no chance of those speeds - the nearest cable is nearly 1000m away.

Until recently our top speed, at about 3am in the morning, was about 1Mbps, during the day as low as 0.3Mbps. Then they installed a new fibre cabinet and our speed increased immensely.

We are on TalkTalk and routinely get 25-28Mbps. Our neighbours are on Sky and BT and get slightly lower (about 20-23Mbps)

Where we live is idyllic - but technology is something you can't worry about. Mobile phone is only useable in one room (assuming on the correct carrier - EE, 3 signals are non-existent), have to use Satellite tv and no DAB signal.

My internet package for £180 a month here in the Falkland Islands gives me a monthly allowance of 55,000 MB currently at a speed of 1MBps.
We’re used to it now after a few years but we haven’t got involved with this whole ‘streaming’ thing I keep hearing about.
