Interesting Comments on Rugby Generally

Certainly can identify with some of his comments - watching old 1990s / 2000s rugby my family have all commented on how much faster the game flowed and the lack of injury downtime. Scrums much fast with moving ball almost every time. You forget the game you played has been changed out of almost all recognition.

Interesting.  i had a habit f watching games so old that you did not have to be in the 22 to kick straight into touch.  Defence was not the same, the game was quicker. More breaks by the backs and dummies that actually worked.  Not so much fuss around rucks and mauls and better competition for the ball.  The odd punch r two thrown in as well!  Much more of a joy to watch actually and ther did not seem to be that many injuries.
