I suspect this was easier than you think, he never really got a shot in the jersey even after stellar seasons in the prem and I doubt that was going to change.

Just asked Bobby on Twitter. He understands that Brad and Cruse have another year left on their contracts. He's unsure about Tibo.

Does this mean Bobby is now un-furloughed?

That sounds promising.

Re: Nizaam Carr. He deserves a new contract and - after THAT try against Bristol - probably deserves a statue too.

Tibo said in a French interview he has a second year of his contract to go. This is where the French moves come from because he said he was interested in seeing what his French options were at the end.

Wow I had no idea Cruse and Shields still had a year left! Guess it gives Barbeary time to develop. But where did the Shields Rumours come from?

Neils, I can see the connection, but other than some mention from a Twitter page that was it? It's like when Ruck said Loz was coming back. Just speculation or fantasy

Ash staying came from and article in the SA media about a week ago. He had been approched by one of the Saffa franchises. The report said that it was probable that he would be at Wasps next season.

Young was rumoured to not have had any offers from the welsh regions.
Also I may be wrong, but I think if he signs a new contract on the same deal and not an ‘improved’ deal then he could still be eligible for Wales selection.
But a long way down the pecking order so he has to look out for himself.
Great news

Nemo extending tomorrow and Jimmy on Friday would be ideal

According to Wales Online not eligible now so great commitment to Wasps and available subject to injury all season.

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/wasps-flanker-thomas-young-makes-18282463

Rees Zammitt signed a new contract before being selected (conveniently) and Tomos Francis seems to have some magic rolling contract that keeps him at Exeter but available for Wales but no one else seems to be able to copy it.

Dia and Thomas were aware of the situation so he has not gone into it blind.
Thought today would be Jimmy as he is on BT tonight.

It also means, that despite a change in leadership at the club, there's presumably no animosity in the background with the Young family

I'm glad that it seems like a genuinely mutual separation of ways.

And I'm super glad about Thomas staying

This is great news. For me, although Curry might push him close, when fit he's the best seven in the league. If the contract status of Shields and Cruse mentioned above is correct we've just got to get Gopperth and Carr done and we're good to go. Be nice to see AJ and CM stay as well. With Mills incoming and a sprinkling of academy step ups it's looking rather good.
