Are the rules different for the Championship? Can they even ground share with another footie club?

Yes they can, but they MUST have primacy of tenure, and can demand the pitch is not used for other purposes in the previous 48hours to a match.

Also, if they are only allowed to share with one other, non football, team which means that things like the Wasps Men/Ladies double header could be in breach of the EFL regulations.

However I don't think there is any other case where the football club is the tenant.

Championship makes it a different proposition from Wasps point of view. They could realistically average 15-20k a game with more for the myriad of Midlands derbies. I wouldn't move an inch on the legals but it will have to be looked at in the current austere times.

We could give them that I believe, but no way could we give them 48 hours before a game.

Weren't some EFL rules/regulations relaxed to allow ccfc to play in Birmingham? I'm sure they'd allow a similar relaxation to enable them to move back to Coventry. Especially if it's "only until ccfc build a new stadium"...
