Nemo has found a new home.

Signed for the Bulls. A shame because he has been brilliant signing and a fantastic player to have in the squad. I’d argue that in our strongest 23 he wouldn’t be in the strongest starting back row but what a player to have on the bench to cover the whole back row.

Surprising to read considering he wanted to become a Wasps legend (even though he had become a bit of a cult hero already).

This is sad really because I always liked nemo and rated him as a player.

This is really bad news. Outside of Willis I have him as our best player. Still, we move on and best of luck to him at the Bulls.

Damn.

Nizam made a good impression when he came to the city and found a mosque where he could practice his faith.

He was an excellent player and his try against Bristol was very very special. I was out of my seat screaming.

The loss of AJ as a much loved character and very committed player and now Carr. The team was always facing a rebuilding process. But it doesnt stop this hurting. Two great guys.

So, with 6 squad players in the back-row, are we now a bit light? [Willis x 2, Young, Shields, Morris, Vailanu]
Do we still think Gaskell/Flament can cover?

There are 4 Academy players covering the back-row but I can only remember seeing Will Wilson play, and he is ?24 this season. A bit old not to have made a first team impact. Tunney, Curren and Ademuwagun are the others.

Wondered whether we were a bit short with Ash and Nemo going, especially as Nemo would likely be a starter or on the bench.  If we looked at the 3 best back row players, you'd probably have Shields, Willis and Young - but none of them are an 8.  I guess with Jack's carrying, he could probably play there at a push.  As could Young (and I think he might done on the odd occasion).

But doesn't seem to have an ideal balance.  Mind you, Dallaglio went from 6 to 8, so perhaps Willis can too.

I reckon Tom Willis will make a name for himself very soon. Bolter.
