Could be another Bath - Wigan, where they both dominated in their respective codes, however as I recall Wigan won the 7s that year in their first outing....the codes do seem to be getting closer in the SH, and with the amount of cross-code movement then I guess this always going to be a thing. I am not convinced it will happen.
It was fine when I left it.....

Other than a fund raiser for the unions concerned I don't really see the point. But I guess with money tight and Union not bringing the crowds in its a way to tap into the only place where league is really popular, Australia.

Makes a lot of sense. It's unlikely the All Blacks will be able to tour Europe or welcome Wales and Scotland this year, which not only leaves game time free but leaves a big hole in their finances. This will help to fix both. I can't see it being a regular competition but it's an intriguing one off
