Looking at that, Wasps' stability is striking.  Very few ins/outs.

Across the board there are no more than a handful of really eye-catching signings, and a lot of academy promotions replacing what could perhaps unfairly be described as "dead wood" (for want of a better expression), so most teams fairly stable in terms of true first team squad members, just a few ins and outs on the fringes.

Bristol stand out as the club that look to have strengthened the most.  Nothing new there.  Thought Sale would look similarly stronger, but on the face off this not as much as I thought.

Leicester and Irish's woes well documented, but Quins and Bath also look to have been hit quite hard.

And presumably most of these moves have already completed due to contract situations, so players will have come and gone by the time we restart.  Robshaw I'm sure extended to take him to the conclusion of the season.  There may be a few more in a similar boat, but for most I think that's what they've got for the rest of the current season.

The Saracens loans shouldn't be labelled "ins". Also, Tigers problems look over given that they've bought Harry Potter in. Bet he's a wizard.

Airplane was a film based on the Police Squad series.. the same actors.. jokes

Ring ring

"Its the hospital"

"What is it?"

"Its a big white building. where they treat people.. but that's not important now"

Having watched Towering Inferno at the week-end.. I can see where the writers came up with all the one liners

BG,

Believe the order went Airplane, Police Squad, Naked Gun, (and Top Secret was somewhere...) but you're absolutely right. Ingenious puns based on very common sayings and phrases, pure classics.

I agree with general comments we're more stable than teams like Quins, Bath, Leicester and London Irish. Notably Bristol do have a few big signings and they may push Exeter, but as we all remember it's not quite that simple. I'm still excited for when we return to playing.

Not many incomers at L Irish and Newcastle, although I assume Mark Wilson is back with them. Will make for hard lives next season.
