Quins tighter (slightly) than Sharks, Sharks look like a team that have never played together before.
It was fine when I left it.....

Nearly half time and I'm fairly convinced Tuilagi hasn't touched the ball yet.

I would agree, Tuilagi looks like he has practiced being second to the ball. He is lethargic and ungainly, at the moment I can only see one winner here....still time.

Tuilagi, you mean he's carried over his Tigers form?

Dire game but ruggers is back!!

Messy, knock ons aplenty....but loving every single second of it!!!! Cannot wait for crowds to return as it does affirm how important having your supporters with you is (and really looking forward to the snooker having crowds again for the final). However what a relief to see such positive refereeing at the scrum and breakdown at last!!! 😀😀

Awful so far.
Just like the first game in NZ where players are not adapting to rule changes quickly enough but at least in NZ as soon as any phase play started they kept hold of the ball a bit more than in this game

Yes, agree, nice touch. Unlike the pen on half time.  :-[

Big difference at the breakdown. Ref very quick to ping holding, in at the side, and (finally, thank god, one of my pet hates) going off feet. Robshaw is winning the battle of the breakdown by miles. Also Smith controlling the game better than the Du Preez.

Tuilagi barely involved. Hill and the other backs not much either, TBH the issue is inside them as Du Preez isn't running the backline much and they don't appear to have a coherent attacking structure. Not being able to keep the ball for more than 4 phases without getting pinged isn't helping.

Also Quins scrum going very well, seems Marler is enjoying himself.

Agree with the above that it is not a classic, but it's rugby and it's back and that's wonderful.

Interesting not having waterboys. It feels like the stoppages are shorter and the players are not getting as much tactical coaching as normal. That's all good as I see it.

Manu couldn't be any less involved in this game if he'd stayed at Leicester.

Agree with others. Never enjoyed such a bang average (at best) game of rugby so much! Roll on Sunday and hopefully a much better game.

+1, maybe the TMO could be used to count to 5 as refs clearly have trouble
