Tom West had the much vaunted Will Stuart on toast in the first few scrums.

Not sure i'd describe it as on toast but it was a competitive battle for sure.

He was on top. Twice forced Stuart to twist in (rewarded with the pen once).

Personally I think Obano is overrated as well.

Sure, but one penalty isn't on toast. Destroying your opposition is having him on toast

Unfortunately, we went to uncontested scrums shortly afterwards. PS. I've never rated Will Stuart much - even when he was with us. Wasn't devastated when he left.

I rate him, I think he already offers more than the likes or Marler, who decent scrummage aside offers very little else.
That said, I wasn't sad he left

I always thought Stuart's strength was in open play more than the scrum. Good to see him going well, but glad West won the match up! We seem to have genuine depth and rotton luck in the front row. Kind of proven because it isn't straight forward to rank them.

Stuart and Obana both looked as if they had been sucking pickled limes.  Contrast  and compare with little video (Wasps  Twitter)  of  Team Wasp  celebrating in Changing Room after the game.
