The other plus for Wasps is that we get a free weekend next week. No date has even been announced for the Quins game.

Huge game for both teams and Lee's able to name probably our strongest 23.

Bring on the Bears.

I think Wasps took the Tigers weakened team for granted in the first 15-20 mins on Wednesday.

Agreed - interesting though if you look at our last 3 wins which were arguably our most prolific wins this season (Bath, Saracens and Leicester) we’ve conceded a try within minutes of kick off.

How were the narrow victories over Bath and Saracens prolific?

A mismatch on paper but we can't kid ourselves into thinking we don't need to apply the same physical intensity that we have in the last three games.

Excited to see how this bunch go and think we have a strong bench too.

Strong team  - probably about the best we could

See my Wasps Glasses do odd things...I read the bench including "James Haskell"......and didn't really wonder why.....

Need the full points - another chance to practice our unstructured game and hopefully use all 23 so that minutes and body stresses are minimised

We certainly need the full points but we also "need" Sale to wallop Bath with no visiting bonus points!

What we need from that game depends on whether we're looking at consolidating top 4 or pushing on for top 2 and a home semi.  If the latter, then a Bath win with no bonus points either way would suit quite nicely.

This is about where I would expect us to have a bit of a wobble.  Confidence is riding high, and on paper we should be clear and away favourites.  But we've always done best as the underdog so I expect a little complacency to creep in. Hopefully not enough to stop us getting the win though.  But I'm not as confident as I should be right now!

Wasps weren't underdogs vs Tigers, but I do get what you mean VV

Complacency should be the watch word flying around the Ricoh and the training ground this week, and should be reinforced further from today. It is easy to mentally relax, and that is when any team with any selection can turn you over. We have to hit the ground running as any team managed by Lam will be a threat! However get this right and a win and we will have made play off qualifying much more likely!!! Whelm is already huge and its only Friday!!!!

Just checked the betting.

Bet365 has Wasps to win at 1/14 and Bears to win at 7/1.

To those of us who don't bet, what does that mean?  :-\
