I dug in a little as both his parents and one of his siblings are/were medical. His father [a retired Paediatrician from Middlesborough] in particular is a hero with his work on preventing HIV transmission between mothers and infants in Uganda. His mother was a GP/specialist who sadly died in 2012.

I was salivating at the thought of some of those ice-cream flavours.
