I've just seen this. Bristol I see as fair enough. But Bath?

Again, it may be local infection rates. North Coventry and Nuneaton (North Warwickshire) are not doing well.

Ah a good enough reason. Shame.

I wonder if the enclosed concours is an issue as well. Or maybe because the Ricoh would only be like the Kew stadium.

I understand that our concourse was seen as a positive due to the roller shutter barriers that are built in to segregate zones of the concourse.

It could also be about logistics of testing how people get to grounds as much as as size of stadia. I guess most people going to stoop go by bus or train. But could you imagine say 20k going over road to hq? Hoping that people would arrive earlier to spread load on public transport would be like expecting to get a Covid test straight away

It might also be that Wasps have done their sums and the cost of having 1000 season ticket holders in the ground may simply be too expensive.  There wouldn't be any tickets sales so the event has to stand alone solely relying on drinks/food sales to offset the huge costs of stadium security, parking, concession costs, cleaning etc.  Id rather the club didn't incur huge losses on just the one home game left just for the sake of it.  Now if we manage a home semi final then they had better get the gates open.

I’ve been watching a bit of the, very scrappy, Toulon v Scarlets game and was wondering about their crowd rules* because whilst it’s not a large crowd there doesn’t seem to be a lot of social distancing from what
I can make out.

*Given the reported COVID increases in France ?I was surprised they hadn’t banned crowds.

5,000 maximum but no apparent restrictions applied beyond masks.

Having watched the Clermont v Racing 92 match, I would not be surprised if Romain Poite and half of both squads test positive for Covid this week. Poite was coughing endlessly throughout the game.

Trevor, this is my thought too.
