Exeter v Racing - what’s the best outcome for Wasps?
« on: October 17, 2020, 04:36:26 PM »
Purely for selfish reasons, what result do we want this afternoon?

Do we want a confident Exeter and European champions, but may have peaked?

Or do we want a wounded Exeter, maybe doubting themselves and not quite as fresh?

Thoughts?

Exeter win for me. Don't think there's a huge advantage for us either way, so would like a win.

Wouldn't mind if that came from an overtime win though.

Slightly OT, but did nobody think "oh, the teams' kits look very similar from a distance, maybe we should ask one of them to wear darker shirts"?

Racing look awful so far.
Their Number 9 keeps wanting glory moments where clear heads are needed.
He’s an absolute liability. Take him off.

You are right, so similar.  I am struggling to tell difference - apart from the fact the team going forward is Exeter.   At this rate they will be able to rest players with our game in mind.

Have Racing done any homework on Exeter... talk about playing to Exeter’s strengths!!! Beautiful Zebo try though.

Finn Russell is class though.
I hope he goes on the Lions Tour and gets the opportunity to stake his claim.

The Racing Number 9 is shocking.
He’s responsible for every break down in play.

Absolutely no idea. Really it's glass half full Vs half empty. You could argue how it benefit us either way.

I personally want it so everyone gets a trophy.
Exeter - champions cup
Wasps - Gallagher prem
Bristol - challenge cup
Sale - premiership rugby cup
Bath - nothing
Saracens - relegated

Everybody wins
