So what lessons will Lee and the boys have learned?
Hopefully that there's no need to send Hail Mary passes when you're still in the game is one of them.

Have enjoyed the two finals this weekend. Nice and open rugby and very unlike what has become known as ‘finals’ rugby.

Is this because we’ve been so used to Exeter vs Sarries and Leinster involved in finals that it’s turned into attritional warfare with players afraid to make mistakes?
Hopefully next weekend is another great game

Rob Baxter hoping the win can free-them-up as a team now, next week.

Should make for a brilliant Final then!

 ;D
I suppose its too much to hope he decides to give the wider a squad a chance of glory and puts out that team we beat in the last game of the season?  ;D

I miss you Bill McLaren! Had to mute the inane babble.

At least not Mullins. IMO would have been even worse. Had him on the tennis too, verbal d+%*[]{ in the extreme. Might not be do bad if occasionally accurate.

I thought Racing were unlucky today. Chancing their arm sadly cost them dear.

Chiefs were certainly in a very hard battle today. Back to back finals on succesive weekends are a huge challenge. I remember 2004.

Just hope there are no more positive C19 results. If we do get to play with a full squad, we have a decent chance, as our style could test Chiefs to the limit after today.

Thought Racing had it done with five to go. Didn't learn anything we didn't already know about Exeter. To beat them we'll need to play very well.

That's what we were saying when they were 1 point down, camped on the Exeter line, and not breaking through.

It’s one of those situation that could of gone either way. They probably felt a 7 pointer (with a 1 man advantage) would give them a comfortable buffer to close out the game. They could of gone for the drop goal, gone 2 points clear only for Exeter to get a penalty (or a drop goal) from the ensuing restart in the Racing half and snatch the lead/win. It’s just one of those moments that could of gone either way on the day - unfortunately for Racing it was a lost opportunity.

Credit to Racing though for having the spirit to fight till the very end, but Exeter were very well deserving of the win.
