From Shedweb.

Saturday 28th November 2020... 2pm...

Jack Willis goes into the changing room to find all of his Wasps team mates looking a little down. "Whats up guys?", he asks. "Well the thing is Jack, we just can't seem to get motivated... we came second in the final a few weeks back, beat Bristol last week and we know every game is important but it's only Gloucester, they're naff and to be honest we can't be bothered"

Jack looks at them and says "I hear what you guys are saying... the way I've been playing recently I reckon I could beat Gloucester by myself. Why don't you all head back to the hotel, crack some beers and I'll see you after the game."

The rest of the wasps squad head back to the hotel and relax in the bar. After a few pints, Goperth turns to Umaga and says "I wonder how the game is going?" So Jacob flicks the BT Sport app open... 10 mins gone, Gloucester 0 - 7 Wasps (try Willis, con. Willis)

He's only gone and put himself ahead. He's doing it all by himself. Surely he can't keep it up for the full 80 minutes.

The wasps lads carry on boozing, the afternoon ticks on and Umaga, realising the game would now be finished, checks the score. Gloucester 7 - 7 Wasps. He can't believe it, the squad go wild. It's a draw. Single handedly, Jack Willis has managed a draw with Gloucester at Kingsholm.

30 minutes later Willis walks in, the wasps lads cheer and clap him in but he raises his hand to stop them... he's fuming and shaking his head.
"I'm sorry lads, I've really let you down."

"Don't be daft Jack, you got a draw, at kingsholm, all on your own. They only scored a single try and that was at the death with 79 minutes gone!"

"No, honestly lads, i really have let you down and I hope you can forgive me", Jack replies. "25 minutes from full time, I got sent off"

I expect now Glos will turn their game around and give us a spanking. :)

Love Glous fans! Nobody is a bigger critic of Gloucester when they'e playing badly than their own supporters. I have a very vivid memory of an away match at Kingsholm many years ago. There was a middle aged woman in front of us in the stand who was dishing out abuse to our players like you wouldn't believe, the language was incredible! Particularly of course to the Shed favourite Lawrence Dallaglio who further endeared himself to them with a little cheeky wave during the warm up. We slowly but surely turned the match in our favour and ended up giving them a real hiding, the woman turned her tongue lashing onto her own players! This continued after the final whistle, we were seated close to the players tunnel so the Gloucester players were left in no doubt as to what their supporters thought of their effort!!!

George Skivington
Alex King
Dom Waldouck
Trevor Woodman

There's over 30 seasons of Wasps culture in that coaching team

It did occur to me as so much Wasps influence on and off the pitch - that they could quite quickly become a v decent team......And that George and Trevor, especially, would be quite "stern" with poor attitude.
