I browse this site almost completely on a mobile (Android).

I'm the past few months, I'm finding it becoming less and less responsive - is anyone else finding this too?


In particular:
-- often clicking any button (compose new message, reply, quote etc), the site hangs and I either have to refresh or click the button again. Sometimes waiting 30 seconds will bring it back to life

-- when scrolling through a long post, the page becomes jerky

-- when typing messages, sometimes the text doesn't appear on screen... If I wait 30 seconds or so, or go back to my home screen and then reopen the browser, all the text appears


If no one else is experiencing these issues then I'll assume that it's something on my end.
However, is a fairly recent mid/high end phone that has no problem on other sites/forums

I browse on my phone most days and haven't experienced anything like this.

Not that that helps much...

I too experience your exact symptoms. Thought it was just my phone, but quite coincidental...

But I too use an android phone.

Yeah, the site freezes on mobile a lot. I close the browser and restart and it comes back ok.

I typically only use Chrome on my mobile.

Is it only affecting Chrome?
Is anyone using edge and having these problems?

I use Chrome on an android tablet - no problems. However I do most of my browsing (troublefree) on my desktop PC, Win 10 and Firefox.

I have use of 2 Android phones.

Get similar om Motorola using Chrome, but no problems (apart from adverts) on Nokia using Firefox.

However mostly use Laptop and Firefox with absolutely no problems, but then I am old fashioned enough to believe that phones are for phoning people, computers are for the internet :)

I use Chrome on a Samsung Android phone. The only difficulty I have is when I try and quote a message. Pressing on "quote" does nothing but it will let me open to quote link on a new tab.

No problems for me in the minority using safari on iOS.  Occasionally an add doesn't load so you need to refresh, but that's about it.

In the last hour, I updated my bookmarks to use Edge rather than Chrome.

No problems yet


I'll report back in a couple of days for the others experiencing the same issues
