And the ref is
« on: December 03, 2020, 02:32:57 PM »
Match officials for the weekend against Newcastle.
Ref is Andrew Jackson
assisted by John Meredith & Wayne Falla. TMO is Graham Hughes
Jackson’s last game involving Wasps was against Sale in Feb 19.

Same TMO as last week. Hope he is more vocal.
Let me tell you something cucumber

The referee tells the line and TMO how vocal he wants them. Clearly last week's muppet was a little power crazy - wanting to p1ss on the lamp post as it were, stamp his authority. Any ref who thinks authority and control are appointed is an idiot. It is earned, and Smales didn't earn more than 5 pence worth. You get respect when you do it right.

It does seem strange that any ref ( not just newbies) would not use any help if it available,he can still go with his own decision.

If it's ok for one of the best (WB) to invite input and use his team as a sounding board, you would think the rest would so.

What was the 5 pence for? Finding the middle of the pitch unaided?
