  Certainly a possibility. I think I'd just about rather have the defensive stability JdJ gives us to start with with Odogwu on after 50 or 60. Plus Odogwu covers both wings.

Pretty sure Young has played a handful of games at 8.  I'd start Odogwu.  Think he earned it last week, and his brief cameo against Bristol was none too shabby either.
Think I'd go Wolstenholme over Velacott at the moment too.  I'm sure Velacott will get back to his best soon enough, but he's had a very long injury lay off and didn't look like he was quite firing on all cylinders against Bristol.

I'd start West for this, we need a solid set piece early doors to secure ball and to turn the screw on Falcons ball, as without our usual supply of turnovers from Jack and/or a usual 7 we are going to be struggling a bit at the breakdown.

Bottom line is that we need to display an energy and go forward which has been lacking for most of the first two matches.

According to his stats page he's only started a 8 once, against Sarries at the start of the 17/18 season, but it doesn't record what position he took when he came on as replacement.
