Well that was awful. Inaccurate and error strewn with the lineout a shambles. It's great playing three distributors but unfortunately Gopperth, Umaga and Sopoaga are all having stinkers.

Tuned in a wee bit late. 45 seconds on the clock and we had 2 replacement locks on, one of which wasn't even supposed to be on the bench. I know Tom W withdrew injured before kick off, but what was the story with the other 2?

Both Gaskell and Douglas had HIA's. Douglas passed his and returned but Gaskell didn't.

I can see Falcons tactics are to put players in front of the ball who disrupt drift defenders by getting in their way and thereby create holes further out. Quite clever as not in ref's sight. Shame his assistants and TMO can't see it though.

Lots of offside from Falcons too. Their rush defence is timed quite well (apart from when Youngs got away with it for our disallowed try) but they are starting in front of offside line by creeping forward at the breakdown before the ball emerges.

However our skills are not holding up well under pressure. Lima has left his in Peru. And lineout throwing poor.

Another impressive performance by Odoguwu in attack and defence though.
