I meant why would you keep Daly even if you had cap money.

I always want to keep academy players if they're good enough. Daly is a bit hit or miss as an international full-back but I always thought he was a quality 13 for Wasps.

Unfortunately its mostly miss compared to his early years. He used to have a lovely running style and would often run latterly back behind the breakdown until he saw a gap and then effortlessly and imperceptibly go up a couple of gears and would be through it before the defence realised what was happening. I don't think I've seen that for England and on the rare occasions I've watched Sarries didn't perform like that.

Attitude of not, I don't think he's worth a regular place in the current side and certainly not the money he'd probably be expecting.

Perhaps I'm guilty of judging his value by comparison to that of LS, so its quite a low bar.
